Let us remind ourselves that God's will is paramount in our lives, and He desires that we live in holiness and obedience to His Word. A relationship should honor God and align with biblical principles, thinking soberly about marriage.
When we pray and ask for help, we must do so in accordance with God's will.
**Romans 12:1-2 - I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God**
Consequently, we should first ask, have either of you considered getting married? Relationships should always be leading to marriage.
**1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 - For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God**
While you may be looking for a repeat apology, we caution you to seek biblical marriage instead:
Romans 5:8 - But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:10 - For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we can seek true forgiveness, that is seeking Gods forgiveness.
Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we are saved. It is only by the name of Jesus
Therefore let us pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for anonymous and the man in her life. Lord, if their relationship is not honoring You, we pray that You would reveal this to them and give them the strength to make the necessary changes. If they are living in sin or considering breaking up, we ask that you would convict them and guide them towards a relationship that aligns with your biblical principles for marriage.
We pray for forgiveness of sins, as Anonymous does not mention Jesus. Open their hearts to the need of believing in Jesus as the only Savior by faith and have them seek rest. We lift this request to the Lord in accordance with your will. May you grant them Your grace, provide them the forgiveness of sins. May they live a life dedicated to you holy as they choose to live in Your world but not of it. Do not put them above temptation. May they come together in the bonds of holy matrimony living under covenant marriage.
All of this prayer is assuming that anonymous is not involved in the sin of fornication. If so, then this prayer will make no difference for God does not hear your prayer.
In the loving and powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
