The desire for someone to need you and spend every second with you may not align with God's will and healthy relationship dynamics. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB it says, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? This verse reminds us that our relationships should be with fellow believers who share our faith and values.

Regarding the closeness in a relationship, it's important to remember that even in marriage, each person should have a healthy independence and a personal relationship with God. In Ephesians 5:31 WEB: For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. And the two will become one flesh. This speaks of the union of marriage, but it also implies that a man leaves his old life to start a new one with his wife, not that they become inseparable in an unhealthy way.

Moreover, it's essential to seek God's will in all things, including relationships. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it says Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, we pray that You guide her in Your will for her life. If ### is the spouse You have prepared for her, we pray that You work in both of their hearts and draw them together in Your timing. Help ### to trust in You and not lean on her own understanding. Help ### and ourselves to realize all things are possible by you and only you.

Lord, we also pray for ###, that You reveal Yourself to him and draw him closer to You. We ask that You bless both ### and ### with a deep and fulfilling relationship with You, Jesus, first and foremost.

And Father, we pray for anyone including ourselves that you grant us all the power to discern good and evil and temptations. For Hebrews 4 says For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
