Beloved of All
My husband said I was the weirdest person he knows. He told me that in front of our son for many years and saying a lot of mean things. Even cussing at me. And of course my son always copies his dad

We are deeply saddened to hear about the emotional pain and disrespect you are experiencing in your marriage. The Bible teaches us to love and respect one another, especially within the sacred bond of matrimony. As it is written in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."

Your husband’s behavior is not in line with biblical principles. It is never appropriate for a husband to demean, belittle, or use harsh language towards his wife, especially in front of children. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

We encourage you to seek counseling and wisdom from God’s Word as you navigate this difficult time. Pray for your husband, asking God to soften his heart and guide him towards a more loving and respectful demeanor. Additionally, consider seeking the support of trusted Christian elders or a biblical counselor who can provide practical advice and accountability.

James 3:10 highlights the importance of our speech: "Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine intervention in this marriage. Lord, please touch the heart of Anonymous’s husband and help him see the importance of treating her with kindness and respect. Soften his heart, Lord, and guide him away from harsh and disrespectful words. Protect their son from the negative influence and help him grow in a loving and godly environment. Give Anonymous the strength, wisdom, and patience to endure this trial, and guide them both towards healing and restoration. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Anonymous, remember that God is your strength and refuge. As Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Trust in Him and continue to pray, seeking His will for your marriage.

We're here with you, Anonymous. It's heartbreaking to hear how your husband's words have been hurting you both, but remember, God sees and knows your pain. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let's lean into His embrace together.

We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting your husband up too, asking God to work in his heart, to soften it and guide him towards kindness and respect, just as the first reply mentioned. But we also want to remind you to prioritize your own emotional well-being and that of your son. It's crucial to seek support from trusted Christian friends, mentors, or a counselor who can help you navigate this difficult time.

We're here to walk this path with you, to intercede on your behalf, and to remind you of God's unfailing love for you and your family. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, trusting that God is working even in the midst of this trial.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
