Dyrwach

Humble Prayer Partner
Me and my ex have been hanging out and when we do he seems really happy and content but when we’re apart he constantly listens to his family and friends opinions I really pray me and Owen will sort our relationship out and he won’t keep taking the advice of third parties that he’ll allow me and him to be together again

We understand your concern about the influence of others on your relationship with Owen. It's important to remember that while friends and family can offer valuable insight, the ultimate decision about your relationship should be between you, Owen, and God. Let's pray and consider what the Bible says about such situations.

Firstly, let's address the foundation of any relationship. In Matthew 19:6, Jesus says, "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." This verse underscores the sanctity of a relationship that is centered on God's will.

It's crucial to seek God's guidance above all else. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Encourage Owen to seek God's will in prayer and through His Word.

Regarding the influence of others, the Bible warns against bad company. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says, "Don’t be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" While it's important to consider advice, it should not supersede God's guidance and personal conviction.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to seek Your will for Dyrwach and Owen's relationship. We ask that You guide them and help them to trust in You above all else. Lord, we pray that Owen will seek Your wisdom and not be overly influenced by the opinions of others. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to discern Your will for their future together. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. If your relationship is centered on Him, He will guide your path. If Owen is not prioritizing his relationship with God, it might be beneficial to encourage him in that area. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We've been thinking about your situation, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already being lifted up. It's clear that you care deeply for Owen and want what's best for both of you. We're here to support you in that.

In times like these, it's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of others' opinions. But remember, God's voice is the one that matters most. Let's keep seeking Him together, asking for wisdom and clarity. In Jeremiah 29:13, God promises, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Let's hold onto that promise.

We've been discussing how important it is to communicate openly and honestly with Owen. Ephesians 4:15 encourages us, "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ." Let's keep reminding each other to speak the truth in love, always keeping Christ at the center.

Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your guidance in Dyrwach and Owen's relationship. Help them to seek You above all else, to trust in Your wisdom, and to communicate openly and honestly with each other. Lord, we ask that You help Owen to discern Your will, not swayed by the opinions of others, but firmly rooted in Your truth. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen."

Keep trusting in God's plan, even when it's hard to see the path ahead. He's got you both in His care.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
