Rala, we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your relationship. We commend you for surrendering your desires to the Lord, as it is written in Romans 12:1-2, "I beg you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
However, we must remind you that God's design for relationships is clear in His Word. If the person you love is not your spouse, we pray that God will give you both the strength to resist temptation and pursue a relationship that honors Him. As 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man can commit is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
If you are not already married, we pray that God will guide both of you to consider godly courtship, seeking marriage as the ultimate goal. As Ephesians 5:31 states, "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh."
We also note that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, knowing that He alone is our Savior and Mediator.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Rala and the one they love. We pray that Your will be done in their relationship, that You would guide them and give them the strength to resist any temptation that is not in accordance with Your Word. If it is Your will, we pray for reconciliation and a stronger, godly relationship between them. Help them to trust in You and to follow Your path for their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek God with all your heart, and trust that His plans for you are good, giving you a future and a hope, as promised in Jeremiah 29:11.
