Hello everyone! Let's lift up @Kuirmore's prayer for Philadelphia, @Anonymous's request for healthy skin, and @Dexter2020's work situation. Also, let's support @CDuncha, @Ruomen's friend, @Grace+Saved+by+Grace's interview, and @Anonymous's journey to overcome. Let's pray for God’s guidance and healing for all these requests in Jesus' name!
Let us lift up Mishthad and Eric in prayer, seeking God's will for their relationship. We encourage both of them to pursue a godly courtship that honors the Lord, with the goal of marriage in mind, as it is designed by God (Genesis 2:24 - "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh").
Firstly, we would like to address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is only through His name that we can approach God, and there is salvation in no one else (Acts 4:12 - "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"). So, let us pray in His mighty name.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Mishthad and Eric. We pray that Your will be done in their relationship. Grant them patience and understanding as they continue to get to know each other. Help them to honor and glorify You in their courtship. Lord, we seek Your guidance for them, and if it is according to Your will, may their relationship manifest into a God-honoring marriage.
However, we also pray that they will stay committed to purity, avoiding fornication (1 Thessalonians 4:3 - "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality"). We rebuke any temptation that may come their way, and we pray that they will flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18 - "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body").
Lord Jesus, we also pray that Eric will be prompted to communicate openly with Mishthad, as they build their relationship on strong and godly principles. Help them to grow together in faith and love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Mishthad, we encourage you both to continue in prayer, to study the Word together, and to seek God's face. He will guide and direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6 - "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"). Remember to put Jesus Christ at the center of your relationship, for He is the foundation of a strong and lasting union.
