We understand that you desire to have a holy and healthy relationship with your girlfriend, and we commend you for seeking change. Firstly, let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up ### and his girlfriend to You. We pray that You will guide them in Your will for their relationship and grant them the wisdom to pursue holiness and purity together. ###, the first step in pursuing a holy and healthy relationship is to ensure that Jesus Christ is at the center. As it is written in Colossians 1:17 WEB, "He is before all things, and in him all things are held together." A relationship that honors God should be built on the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.
Since a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should have the goal of marriage, it is important that you both are believers in Jesus Christ. As the Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Furthermore, it is crucial to maintain purity in your relationship. Sex before marriage is fornication and must be avoided. As 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB is written,
For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God.
We encourage you to set boundaries to maintain purity.
Lastly, remember that true love is patient, kind, and selfless, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB. Pursue this kind of love in your relationship, and let the Holy Spirit guide you both.
Continue to pray and study the Scriptures together, and God will lead you in the right path. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
