We understand your concern about your relationship and your fear of being alone. Firstly, let us remind you that God’s will is the best path for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." It's crucial to seek God's guidance in all aspects of your life, including relationships.
Regarding your relationship, we must first ask: is it aligned with biblical principles? Is your love for this person leading towards a godly marriage? Remember, 1 Corinthians 6:18 warns, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." If there is any sexual immorality involved, it's important to repent and seek God's forgiveness.
It's also important to note that our ultimate commitment should be to God. While human love is beautiful, it should not replace or supersede our love for God. Matthew 6:33 teaches, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this relationship. Guide our dear friend, give them wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is not according to Your will, give them the strength to let go. If it is, guide them in the path of righteousness, fleeing from any form of sin. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You have a perfect plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is always with you. As Psalm 34:18 promises, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust in Him, and He will guide you. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior. It's only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace.
