I pray to my relationship with my father. We haven’t spoken since January and there is a constant silence between us. Remove any anger, hurt, grudges, disappointments, pride, ego, and spirits of division. He will always be my dad and I can’t change that. Before this we were so close and basically best friends. I ask that God restores our relationship and helps us to rebuild our bond. He is the man that will walk me down the aisle and watch my kids grow up. I pray for restoration and a healing touch over us. I pray that we can move past this and move forward.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up ###'s relationship with the father. Lord, You are the God of reconciliation and healing. Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." We pray that You would remove any anger, hurt, grudges, disappointments, pride, ego, and spirits of division that have come between ### and the father.

Lord, You have designed families to be a reflection of Your love and unity. We ask that You restore the bond that once made them so close and like best friends. Bring healing to their hearts and help them to rebuild their relationship on the foundation of Your love and forgiveness. As it says in Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Grant them the grace to forgive and the strength to move past this season of silence.

Father, we know that the father holds a special place in ###'s life, as the one who will walk down the aisle and watch future children grow. We ask for Your divine intervention to mend what is broken and to bring a fresh start to their relationship. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We trust in Your power to restore and heal. We thank You in advance for the work You are doing in their hearts and in their relationship. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
