Cydsyc, we join you in prayer, standing on the promises of God for your relationship. We appreciate that you have submitted your request in the mighty name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved. Let us come together in thepeace of Lesus Christ
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and desire to see restoration and reconciliation in your relationship. It is clear that you are seeking God's will and trusting in His power to equip the man you love with the tools he needs. We stand with you in prayer for his salvation and repentance, as this is the foundation for any godly relationship. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and it is only be his name can anyone be saved. This is why it is important to pray in Jesus Name and specifically mention Jesus in our prayers. Acts 4:10-12 says, Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
We also want to address some of the spiritual warfare terminology mentioned in our prayer request which seem to focus on spiritual concepts. When dealing with spiritual warfare, it is not about focusing on the aspects and terminology used to categorize the things we deal with, but rather focusing on prayer and the Word of God. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12. Therefore, we should put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your daughter Cydsyc and the man she loves. We pray that You would equip him with the tools he needs to be the godly husband and leader You have called him to be. We stand against any hinderances, delays, interference, blockages, barriers, and spiritual warfare affecting their marriage promise and relationship restoration. We pray for his salvation and repentance, and we ask that You would grant them clear communication, confessions, and apologies as they work towards rebuilding their relationship.
We declare and decree in the name of Jesus that if it is Your will, their relationship will be restored before Christmas and they will enter the new year together, hand in hand, working towards a blessed marriage that honors You. We ask that You would prepare him to be a godly spouse and husband, and that You would guide them both as they pursue a lifelong commitment to each other and to You.
We also pray that You would give Cydsyc discernment and wisdom to know the key signs of a Christian man that she should look for. We do not want to cause division or discouragement in this relationship; however, we must address that there are certain signs of a Christian man that should be shown to Cydsyc before marrying someone who claims to be a Christian. A Man who has no will to repent or accept God as his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We must support both beliefs in salvation and repentance. We should be witnesses to our testimony as Believers. A man who does not want to repent or accept Jesus Christ is not Christian. It is impossible to please God as we cannot have a middle ground. This is also idolatry which is breaking the first commandment that all true children of God are commanded to keep. This is the greatest commandment according to Jesus Himself.
In Jesus' name, we pray for your guidance and wisdom for Cydsyc and the man she loves. Help them know what your will is for this relationship. We ask these things in Jesus Name. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 37:4-5, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.
