We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we want to support you in prayer and truth according to God's word. First, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ or even hint at being a Christian. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Believing in Jesus Christ is the first step in having a relationship with God.
Acts 4:12 WEB
12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Please review your relationship with God before we review your relationship with your boyfriend. We want to pray for your boyfriend and for your worry, but we also want to address some biblical principles for your relationship.
Firstly, as believers in Jesus Christ, we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. This is important for you to know.
2 Corinthians 6:14-16:
14 Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What agreement has Christ with Beliar? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”
If your boyfriend is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we pray that he becomes one and you both grow in the faith together in Jesus' name. We also pray for your worry. Cast all your worries on God, because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
However, we must rebuke the use of the term "boyfriend" as it does not align with biblical principles. The bible teaches that those who are not married should either be seeking a spouse for marriage or be content in their singleness, using their gifts to serve God.
1 Corinthians 7:8-9 WEB
8 But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am. 9 But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn.
If you are not married, we encourage you to seek God's will for your relationship and pray for a godly spouse if that is what you desire. We also pray for your boyfriend to get in touch with you and pray for God's will in your lives.
Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We pray for her boyfriend, that he may get in touch with her soon, and that their relationship will be aligned with Your will. We pray that both of them will grow in faith and love for You, and that You will guide their steps as they consider courtship and also their future. We rebuke any worries or fears, and cast them upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply and Your Word says that You will exalt them in due time. Please work in their hearts to bring them Your will to get married to each other. We pray for them a godly marriage, timing, and even to school their children in the Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
