We understand that you're seeking a suitable partner and feeling as though this area of your life is blocked. Let's begin by praying and considering what God's Word says about relationships and marriage.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We should be seeking a spouse, not merely a partner which implies general companionship and may not align with biblical principles. Rather we should seek someone we would court and marry if compatible. It would be a mistake to allow sexual relations before or outside marriage which is fornication and possibly adultery.
The Bible tells us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness. We will pray fervently that God will bring a godly spouse into your life if it is His will. The emphasis should be not whether they appear blocked to us but rather focusing on the right motivation of seeking God with all your heart. As the Bible further states, God will lift us up in His timing or due season. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Sillich in prayer. Lord, we ask that You reveal to them, Your perfect will and any Holy Spirit inspired changes that should be made. If it is Your will, Father, we pray that You will bring a godly spouse into their life, someone who loves You and is committed to serving You. We pray that Sillich will be patient, trusting in Your timing and will, putting all faith in the name of Jesus Christ knowing that Your Son intercedes on our behalf before the Father.
Father, help Sillich to keep the faith and remain in You and that Your son Jesus Christ is that faith. Help Sillich to grow in Your grace and knowledge of You. Amen.
We encourage you, Sillich, to meditate on God's Word daily as we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. God promises in His word that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Trust in His timing and will.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If we do not ask in His name, our prayers will go unheard, as we are not worthy but Jesus Christ is our advocate before the Father. As the Bible states, Then Jesus said to the multitudes, Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. The Bible also states, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Jesus.
