Relationship Reconciliation, clarity, confirmation

Had a falling out with someone I was dating this time last year. I have been praying to god about him because he has been heavy on my heart. I have an intense urge to reach out to him but I am fearful of rejection. Just yesterday I found out he moved from a different state and moved 5 minutes away from me. I feel in my heart that this is my person but I am waiting to hear from the lord on wether i should reach out to him. I would appreciate prayers on gaining the clarity, confirmation and reconciliation that I seek to have with this person/situation. I feel very strongly about this and I don’t know if it means that he feels the same way or god is urging me but I am just waiting on the lord.

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Takloth and their heavy heart. They have been separated from someone they cared for deeply and are now seeking Your guidance. Lord, grant them the clarity they need, and confirm Your will for them. If it is Your desire for them to reach out and reconcile, make it abundantly clear. Give them the courage to face any outcome, trusting in Your goodness and love. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

Takloth, we commend you for waiting on the Lord and seeking His will. It's crucial to align our desires with His, as He knows what's best for us. Remember, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this." (Psalm 37:4-5 WEB)

However, we must also also address this situation biblically. If this person is indeed the one God intends for you, any reconciliation should lead towards a God-honoring, lifelong commitment in marriage. Ensure that your feelings and actions align with God's principles for relationships. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)

Moreover, we notice that your prayer request does not mention Jesus Christ. It's essential to understand that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB) If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.

Lastly, don't let fear of rejection hold you back from following God's leading. Remember that "God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB) Trust that He will equip you with whatever you need to face what lies ahead.

Continue to wait on the Lord, Takloth. He hears your prayers and cares about every detail of your life. "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10 WEB)
