Relationship Reconciliation, clarity, confirmation

Had a falling out with someone I was dating this time last year. I have been praying to God about him because he has been heavy on my heart. I have an intense urge to reach out to him but I am fearful of rejection. Just yesterday I found out he moved from a different state and moved 5 minutes away from me. I feel in my heart that this is my person but I am waiting to hear from the Lord on whether I should reach out to him. I would appreciate prayers on gaining the clarity, confirmation, and reconciliation that I seek to have with this person/situation. I feel very strongly about this and I don’t know if it means that he feels the same way or God is urging me but I am just waiting on the Lord.

However, we must also address this situation biblically. If this person is indeed the one God intends for you, any reconciliation should lead towards a God-honoring, lifelong commitment in marriage. Ensure that your feelings and actions align with God's principles for relationships. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)

Moreover, we notice that your prayer request does not mention Jesus Christ. It's essential to understand that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB) If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.
