We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your relationship, Ochurn. Let's first align our hearts with God's Word. The Bible tells us, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 WEB).
We commend you both for maintaining purity in your relationship, as God commands us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). However, we want to remind you that the ultimate goal of a God-honoring relationship is marriage, as it is a lifelong commitment ordained by God (Matthew 19:6).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Ochurn and her boyfriend to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing and restoration in their relationship. We pray that You would bridge the gap between them, and help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us.
Lord, we ask that You would reignite the love between them, and help them to glorify You in their relationship. Guide them as they seek Your will, and help them to honor and respect each other. We claim Your promise that 'love never fails' (1 Corinthians 13:8), and we ask that You would draw them closer to each other and to You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would guide them towards a God-honoring marriage if it is Your will, and help them to remain pure and committed to each other. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
Ochurn, we encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's will for your relationship. Remember that God is faithful, and He wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will see you through.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, ensure that both of you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, as it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
