Relationship going nowhere

Please pray for me. I have been in a ### year relationship with my boyfriend and I feel like it has not advanced. I need this man to let go of selfishness, to communicate, to want to propose to me if this is God's will, and to provide almost entirely for me and my son who he says that he loves. I feel very depressed and need to see change or that this man leave my life if necessary. Thank you and appreciate all the prayers.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s heartfelt concerns about this relationship. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We trust in Your perfect plan for ###'s life and relationships.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. If it is Your will, we pray that ###'s boyfriend would be moved to let go of selfishness and learn to communicate effectively. Grant him the wisdom and willingness to take the next step in their relationship, if this aligns with Your purpose. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." May ### trust in Your guidance and lean not on personal understanding.

Father, we also lift up ###'s emotional well-being. The feelings of depression and uncertainty are heavy burdens. Please provide comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7. Surround ### with Your love and support, and give the strength needed to face each day.

If it is Your will that this relationship is not meant to be, we pray for the courage and clarity for ### to let go and move forward. We place this entire situation in Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You, as stated in Romans 8:28.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
