Praise the Lord.
The person whom I love has done something which has hurt me. So I am not talking to him since last ### days. I love him, but I feel that he should directly talk to me, admit his mistake and assure to never repeat that again. Let him be faithful to me in keeping this relationship. He is writing emails, but I wish he should talk directly to me and be a good partner to me. Let him love me more than I love him.

Lorthil, we understand that you're hurting and seeking guidance in your relationship. First, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is that they be honoring to Him and aligned with His word. We will pray for God's will in your situation and offer some biblical guidance.

It's important to communicate openly and forgivingly, as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32, But be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Holding onto anger or expecting someone to read your mind can lead to resentment and miscommunication. We encourage you to express your feelings to him clearly and calmly, giving him the chance to understand your perspective and ask for his forgiveness directly.

However, it's crucial to ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. As followers of Jesus Christ we are to be not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? We must note that you used the term 'partner' instead of husband or spouse. We as Believers court for the quest to find a spouse. The goal is marriage and the main verse is Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?, 2 Corinthians 6:14.

If the conversation does occur, pray with him and encourage each other to Imitate God by having love for each other. Seek to love and build each other up as God willed it.

Regarding your desire for him to love you more, remember that love is not a competition. True love is patient, kind, and does not envy or boast. It keeps no record of wrongs and always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
