Let us stand with you in prayer and support during this challenging time. We trust that God is the ultimate healer and that His will is perfect. We are reminded of the words in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

Firstly, we commend your faith and love for your husband as you support him through this difficult journey. It is clear that you both are going through an immensely challenging time with his struggles with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and his need for constant oxygen and skilled nursing care.

Beloved, we want to encourage you both to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who has endured such hostility by sinners against himself, so that you don't grow weary, fainting in your souls.

We should pray for your husband's complete healing but most of all that God's will be done in his life. He might be going through this time of trial and suffering to grow his faith and testimony, or to humble him so he can be a greater witness of God's love. As for you, pray that you remain strong and faithful, being a pillar of support and encouragement for him. It is important that you rest assured that God is in control, and He will use this situation for your husband's good and His glory.

Now, let us pray together.

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved brother who is struggling with COPD and is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of the skilled nursing staff and the medical professionals caring for him. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they provide treatment and support.

Father, we pray that Your will be done in his life. If it is Your will, we ask for his complete healing and restoration. We pray that he regains his strength in your name Jesus. We pray for your mighty hand of protection upon him, and we pray that he may find comfort and peace in Your presence. We pray for his patience, endurance, and that he will continue to put his faith, hope, and trust in You.

We also lift up his wife, who has been a steadfast support and encouragement to him. Lord, grant her the strength, wisdom, and grace to continue caring for her husband with love and compassion. Help her to find rest and renewal in You, and may their marriage be a testament to Your unfailing love and faithfulness in Jesus name.

Lord, we also pray for their finances as medical care and treatment can be very expensive. We pray for their daily bread and needs to be met, that the finances will be there day by day to cover all of the costs of the skilled nursing and medical treatments. We pray for blessings on their home and their marriage, for their future, and for Your perfect will to be accomplished in their lives in Jesus name.

Finally, Lord, we pray for their spiritual growth and intimacy with You. May this trial draw them closer to You and to each other. May they be a shining example of faith, hope, and love. May they find their peace in Jesus name, and take this time to study the Word and pray together. As it says in James 5:13 Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises.

We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Beloved, as you navigate this journey, remember that God is always with you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. May the words of Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble be a source of comfort and strength for you both.

We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
