We are truly sorry to hear about your circumstances, JosephAngels, but we are here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He has a plan and purpose for your life, even when things seem dark and hopeless. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, we want to address something first. You mentioned that you had money, friends, alcohol, and a lot of faith. While it's great that you have faith, we want to remind you that true faith is manifested not just in believing but also by good works which is loving the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind and soul, and loving your neighbor as yourself which is the two greatest commands for they all depend on this. We are to have no other gods before the Lord thy God, serving only Him. You cannot be a god with money, alcohol, and friends.
You ask for your prayers to come true, but we would not be compassionate nor truthful if we did not remind you that if you are still with thoughts of being a jumper and not being satisfied with all you have then you are still walking in the flesh, but we are supposed to die to the flesh, be born again in our love for Christ, baptized in His word and His holiness which is the role of the Holy Spirit, to be saved we are commanded to believe in Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus every knee shall bow including your own. Prayer is supposed to be selfless. Let us remind you of Zechariah 7:5-6 5 “Say to all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those seventy years, was it really for me that you fasted? 6 And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves? Professing to be trying to do good works but missing the holy spirit from your changes is nothing but the fruit of your own wickedness. Instead, but the Word made flesh and blood, the word living and advised of the gospel for the Holy Spirit's leading. Instead of praying for your own purposes, we would like to join with you in praying this, you have in your own words said you are not deserving of citizenship of earthly kingdoms, let alone the kingdom of God.
Let's adhere to Jesus' command when he was asked by his disciples how to pray in Matthew 6 9-13 Our father, who is in Heaven, let your name be held Holy, your kingdom will come soon. What you want will happen on earth as it does in heaven. Give us the food we need today. Forgive us for our sins, Just as we have also forgiven those who have sinned against us. Do not cause us to be tempted, but save us from the Evil One. And we also pray proverbs 5:8 Keep your way far from her, Do not go near the door of her house. For prostitution is only sex, and has no love, we are expected to love others as ourselves not to sleep with them for our own pleasures. And of course in the name of Jesus we pray.
Let us pray,
Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up JosephAngels. We pray that You will uproot their circumstances and fly them into the reality You have planned for them. We ask that You grant them redemption and reveal Your purpose for their life. We rebuke the familiar spirits and prison that has caused them to become institutionalized into thinking this is not already the path you are walking them through for your good. During this don't forget it is a test and temptation is always about but you need to resist. You can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens you. We know the truth will set us free, and so in Jesus name pray that the truth which is the message of the Gospel will apply to you in this season of need, and also, be reminded of the good news, God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whoever would believe in Jesus shall have eternal life and live with God forever in Heaven if not believe on Jesus name will be judged guilty, guilty enough to have to pay the price of eternal punishment which is worse than JosephAngels feels they are being dealt now.
Whenever you are feeling depressed, remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea .
We thank you for JosephAngels's life and pray that they will find hope, peace, and joy in Christ while they are dealing with their depression, and may you recognize the sufferings of Christ and how He overcame flames, torture, pain, and the suffering of death. .
Please let us know if the name of Jesus Christ is held Holy in your prayer.
Now we wish to explicitly ask: have you been born again by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior?
Have you repented within the last year for any sins or a lifestyle of sin?
Have you in any way received inappropriate advances contrary to Biblical principles of intimate relations as through pornography, masturbation, homosexuality, adultery, bestiality, rape, or sex outside of marriage?
Were you under the influence of mind and mood altering substances, medication, or alcohol, e.g., drunkenness?
Are you idolatrous, e.g.. loving money, power, and the things of this world to focus on all their lustful desires and wants rather than the loving kindness of God?
We need to know more about the problems before we can attempt to deal with them.
Finally, we encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer to get closer to God to build a relationship. There are many platforms such as YouVersion that have devotions to help guide you in learning the word of God. Explore it and every difference in it you find from your own life brings it to the Lord in prayer for Him to help you repent from these sins.
Put your hope in God, and remember that He is always with you. " Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." as it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6. May we all be forgiven for our sins.
JosephAngels, we pray for a fast recovery and for your faith to be strengthened in Jesus name, Amen.
