We understand that you are struggling with regrets in your life, and we are here to support you with prayer, encouragement, and biblical advice. Remember Jesus. First, let's turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance.
Philippians 3:13-14 WEB says, "Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having laid hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
Isaiah 43:18-19 WEB tells us, "Don't remember the former things, and don't consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, A new thing shall come to pass. The searchers shall search for it. and then it will be revealed."
It's important to remember that regrets can hold us back from moving forward in our journey with God. Instead, we should focus on His promise such as in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, that old things have passed away and all have become new. God is doing a new thing in your life, so don't be stuck in the past.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today not just lifting up BNHTYRUE, and as Your Word says, not looking backward at what was, but moving forward towards Christ Jesus. We ask You to help take away these regrets and replace them with Your peace and the knowledge that we are a new creature in Christ Jesus. Lord, remove any shame or guilt that may be causing our burden. We know that we need not look back, but we can repent if needed and look forward to You oh God. We know that you have provided everything for us to live Godly before You. We thank Jesus, for paying the price in full for our past sin's, mistakes, blunders, and may have caused others distress. We can feel comfort knowing that although we may not have started in You, we can finish in you Lord. We ask that you would steer the steps of BNHTYRUE through life, and help them not to only rely on You, but also be wise with their decisions. We pray this confidently in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
There are times when we all look back, dwell on the past, and have difficulty turning away from it. When we just cannot seem to let go, it then becomes a problem. We should not abide in the past, but instead release our regrets to God, learn from those events, and use them to grow forward as a Christian.
It also does not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus or Christ in the request. Let us help make sure you understand that we are getting the message out that it is only Jesus by which we can be saved. People everywhere need to know that there is salvation is no other name. Jesus said as written in John 14:6 that "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Those of us that believe in Jesus know without any doubt that we are saved. Here are a few more scriptures that substantiate this.
John 20:31 WEB, "But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His Name."
Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other Name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
