We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your family is facing, especially your father's long-term battle with alcohol addiction. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and healing for your family.
Firstly, let us address the issue of addiction. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:12, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything." Alcohol addiction is a form of bondage, and God desires for us to be free from any stronghold that controls our lives.
We pray for your father, that God would touch his heart and set him free from this addiction. In John 8:36, Jesus said, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We claim this promise for your father, believing that God can break the chains of addiction and bring him into a place of freedom and restoration.
We also lift up your family's health before the Lord. In 3 John 1:2, we read, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We ask God to protect and strengthen each member of your family, bringing them good health and removing any darkness or evil that may be affecting their lives.
Moreover, we pray for your business, that God would bless and prosper it. In Deuteronomy 28:12, God promises, "Yahweh will open to you his good treasure, the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand." We believe that as you honor God and seek His will, He will indeed bless the work of your hands.
However, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we can be saved and receive the blessings of God.
Finally, we pray that your family would draw closer to God during this time, seeking His will and trusting in His love. May Psalm 147:3 be a comfort to you all: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
