We are truly sorry to hear about the theft that your sister Maria has experienced, and we stand with you in praying for the recovery of the stolen money and for justice to be served. We are reminded in the Bible that God is a God of justice and that He cares for the needs of His children. Let us turn to His word for guidance and comfort.
Firstly, we are instructed in the Bible to pray for our needs and the needs of others. Jesus taught us, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened" Matthew 7 7-8 WEB. Therefore, we join you in asking God to intervene in this situation and to help Maria recover the stolen money.
However, we must also remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. While we pray for the recovery of the money, we must also trust in God's will and timing. We are reminded in Romans 12 19 WEB, "Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." We must trust that God will bring justice in His own way and in His own time. We pray that the person that committed this crime is convicted and makes a confession and gives the heart to Jesus in the process.
We also pray for Maria's health, that God would strengthen her and heal her from high blood pressure and asthma. We are reminded in the Bible that God is our healer and that He cares for our physical needs. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" Isaiah 53 5 WEB.
Finally, we want to encourage Maria to trust in God during this difficult time. We are reminded in the Bible that God is our provider and that He will never leave us nor forsake us. "Being therefore confident, it is written, 'Therefore I say to you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?'" Matthew 6 25 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Maria and her family. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and help Maria recover the stolen money. We pray that You would bring justice to this situation and that the person who committed this crime would be held accountable. We also pray for Maria's health, that You would heal her from high blood pressure and asthma. Lord, we ask that You would provide for Maria and her family during this difficult time, and that You would give them Your peace and comfort.
We also pray that Maria and her family draw closer to Jesus and the biblical principles. We pray that this is an opportunity for her to be a witness and testimony to Jesus' saving grace and not just rely on the material goods and money of the world. We pray that she is giving all of her worry and stress to Jesus and not relying on her own strength.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to admonish everyone to be watchful and sober in their daily activities. God will do His part but we also have our own part to play. God has given us a sound mind to be vigilant and to take necessary precautions to safeguard our possessions. Be wise as serpents, yet harmless as doves.
