We stand with you in prayer for Oluseyi Ogungbe, trusting in God's mercy and healing power. We are reminded of Jesus' words in John 16:24 (WEB), "Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." It is wonderful that this request is made in Jesus' name. We should always pray to God the Father in Jesus' name as there I no other name by which we can be saved. This is an essential part of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation. Faith is the certainty of things hoped for and certainty of things not seen yet. Prayer is so important for healing:
James 5:13-15 which says: "Are any among you suffering? Let them pray. Are any cheerful? Let them sing praises. Are any among you sick? Let them. call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We pray for Oluseyi's healing and trust that God's will be done in his life. We also lift up the financial burdens and the search for a donor to the Lord, knowing that He is Jehovah Jireh, our provider. The problem of the kidneys is an opportunity to witness God's miraculous healing, provision, and ways He can work. We have biblical assurances such as Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine intervention for Oluseyi Ogungbe, Your precious Child. Lord, You know his struggles with kidney disease and the challenges he faces with transplant options, financial needs, and finding a donor. We ask for Your healing touch on his body, especially his kidneys. We pray for Your supernatural provision for the funds needed and for a suitable donor, if You so desire. We trust in Your goodness and mercy to this point is even for the display of Your miraculous healing and the furtherance of Christian faith in Your ultimate plan. Help Oluseyi and those around him to fix their eyes on You, trusting in Your love and faithfulness. Grant him peace, strength, and encouragement during this time, and let Your will be done in his life. We pray this for Your glory and the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ, In whose name we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and continue to trust in God's love and faithfulness. Keep praying and seeking God's will.
Let us consider the story of Job and how Job trusted God even though all circumstances turned against him (*Job 1:13-2:10; Job 42:12-17*). Job's circumstances went from bad to worse and until the end it seemed as though God had abandoned him, even though the exact opposite was true! Hold on to faith and the power of prayer to a true and living God: *Romans 8:28* "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
