We understand that you are dealing with a difficult situation, and our hearts go out to you. First, let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer. It is extremely important that the person who took advantage will be shown the grace of God and his sin of theft will be explicitly known.
Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your intervention in this situation. You are the God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that you bring the person who has wrongly taken the finances to repentance, knowledge of the sin, the work of the cross and the importance of making amends. We pray that you will work on their heart, convict them and restore the money taken. Expose to them that it is a commandment that "You shall not steal. (Exodus 20:15). Lord, we also pray for Anonymous, that you will comfort and strengthen them in this time of distress. Provide for them, Lord, and help that the ungodly taking of money taken will restore to them and bring glory to your name. Guide them through this trial and help them to keep their faith and trust to Jesus and not to the lost money, possessions or riches. IJN, we ask that you bring resolution to this situation and that your will be done.
In this difficult time, remember that God is your provider and that He will never leave you nor forsake you, (Hebrews 13:5). It is also important to remember to not hold unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart in this situation. Rejoice in Jesus Christ, the peace that comes from your salvation, and that God disciplines us as children.
Now, let us address some biblical principles related to this situation. The Bible clearly states that stealing money through deception and taking advantage of someone in any way is a sin. We don't know why this happened to you, but God knows and cares and will show His glory. Remember that no one has the power to steal God's blessing or love from you.
We hope that this prayer and advice help you and remember that the Holy Spirit also is at work. The work of Jesus Christ can not be thwarted. Don't get angry, upset, or intimidated as it can cause a harmful thing to come forth in you. This is what the enemy wants and is very dangerous and counterproductive to getting better. Seek peace and self control as the Spirit bears these fruits and God promises to work for those that love and wait on Him. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
