We understand your concern for your son, Arelareyn, and we join you in prayer for his swift recovery and adjustment to college life. Let's approach God's throne of grace together.
In the Bible, we are encouraged, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." (James 5:14-15 WEB). We claim this promise for your son.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Arelareyn's son to You. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing as he adjusts to college life and battles sickness. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Give him strength and quick recovery, according to Your will.
Lord Jesus, You understand the challenges of adjusting to new environments. Be with him, comfort him, and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Holy Spirit, guide him to connect with Christian fellowship on campus, so he may grow in faith and find support among believers. May this trial draw him closer to You and help him testify of Your goodness once he's restored.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Arelareyn, remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Encourage your son to keep his faith and trust in the Lord during this time. We also gently remind you to ensure that your son knows the importance of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you or your son have not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider this important step.
