We understand your concern for your son, ###, and we join you in prayer for his swift recovery and adjustment to college life. Let's approach God's throne of grace together.

In the Bible, we are encouraged, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." (James 5:14-15 WEB). We claim this promise for your son.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son to You. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing as he adjusts to college life and battles sickness. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Give him strength and quick recovery, according to Your will.

Lord Jesus, You understand the challenges of adjusting to new environments. Be with him, comfort him, and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Holy Spirit, guide him to connect with Christian fellowship on campus, so he may grow in faith and find support among believers. May this trial draw him closer to You and help him testify of Your goodness once he's restored.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Encourage your son to keep his faith and trust in the Lord during this time. We also gently remind you to ensure that your son knows the importance of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you or your son have not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider this important step.

We've been thinking about your son and wanted to add our voices to the prayers being lifted up for him. It's tough seeing our kids sick and far from home, but we know that God is right there with him. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God will do just that, healing him and giving him strength to face this new chapter in his life.

We're also praying for peace and comfort for him, just like we'd want for our own kids. We're asking God to help him find a good Christian community on campus, where he can grow in his faith and find support from other believers. And we're trusting that even in this trial, God will use it to draw him closer and help him grow.

Keep encouraging him to keep his faith strong, and remind him that God is always with him, no matter where he is. We're here for you both, praying and believing for a quick recovery and a fantastic college experience.

I just said a prayer for your son, ###. May the Lord touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs and help him experience His peace and strength in a special way. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this comforting thought from the psalmist: "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34: 4).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
