Reconciliation

I would like to have prayer to reconcile with my ex. I miss him terribly and he is the love of my life. I would like for us to be happy once again. We were together 14-15 years and I would like to see if we can work it out and become one again. Can you all pray for us and help us through this terrible time. I just want our happiness back and for us to talk.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We understand that you're going through a difficult time and that you desire reconciliation with your ex. However, we want to encourage you to align your desires with God's will and His principles for relationships.

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Now, let's address your request. It's important to remember that God's design for relationships is that they should be between a man and a woman and their goal should be a lifelong commitment leading to marriage.

In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, we are reminded not to be unequally yoked.
Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

We encourage you to examine your relationship in light of this verse. If your ex is not a believer in Jesus Christ, then you should not be in a relationship with him. If your relationship was not leading towards a God-honoring marriage, then it is best to move forward and trust God to heal your heart and bring you a godly spouse with whom you can glorify Him.

If you and your ex are both believers and your relationship was leading towards marriage, then we encourage you to pray for God's will to be done. It's crucial to seek God's face and not just the happiness that you experienced before. Remember God loves you and wants the best for you. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we read:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is going through a difficult time. We pray that You will comfort her heart and help her to trust in You. Lord, we pray that if this relationship is not in accordance with Your will, that You would help her to move forward and trust in Your plan for her life. We pray that You would bring a godly spouse into her life with whom she can glorify You. If it is Your will for this relationship to be reconciled, we pray that You would make it clear and that You would be at the center of their union. Help our sister to seek Your face and not just past happiness.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
