Beloved, we are truly sorry to hear about the pain you are experiencing due to the separation from your husband. We will pray for you, but first, we must address a few things according to the Word of God.
Firstly, you mentioned that you have been with your husband for 13 years, but it is not clear if you are married. The Bible teaches that a man and a woman should be united in holy matrimony (Mark 10:6-9). If you are not married, we encourage you to consider the importance of marriage as a lifelong commitment before God.
Secondly, we must address the fact that your husband left you for another woman. This is a sin called adultery and by no means the will of God. Jesus himself said,"Because of your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery." (Matthew 19:8-9) If he truly is your husband, you have grounds for divorce, but God's will is for reconciliation and forgiveness. We will pray for his heart to turn back to you and to God.
The Bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We encourage you to humble yourself before God, pray, seek His face, and turn from any wicked ways.
God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and His desire is for marriages to be reconciled and restored. However, reconciliation is a two-way street, and it requires both parties to be willing to seek God and follow His will.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ, Akaenea. Lord, she is hurting and in need of Your comfort and guidance. We pray for her husband, that Your Holy Spirit would convict him of his sin and turn his heart back to Akaenea and to You.
Father, we pray for healing and reconciliation in this marriage. We ask that You would restore what the enemy has tried to destroy. We pray for forgiveness and grace to abound in this situation.
Lord, we also pray for Akaenea, that You would give her strength and peace during this difficult time. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your will for her life.
In the name of Jesus Christ (the only name that has access to you) we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved by confessing our sins and believing in him. (Acts 4:12;Romans 10:9-10;1 John 1:9,10)
