Let us first praise God for Antalik's faith in bringing this situation to the Lord in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus Christ of Nazareth that we have any access to God.
We are called to be peacemakers and to seek reconciliation, as blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. In Matthew 5:9 You have done well by bringing this need to God. Despite how difficult any situation may be, God offers the answer in Matthew 9:26, looking at them, Jesus said to him, 'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'
We must remember that God desires that families be reconciled and live in harmony. In Malachi 4:6, He promises, He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.
In the situation of reconciliation with conflict between a mother and father with a child, we must remember to honor God's principles. In Psalm 68:5,A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
Let's pray, so the mother's heart would be softened, and that any negativity or bitterness would be removed from both her and the little girl's mind. We pray that the mother and daughter would both come to think only positive thoughts about the father. We pray to protect this little girl to think positive about her father and her whole family.
God tells us to honor both our mothers and fathers. It seems that some of the people involved are likely not saved Believers. Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus summarized the law based on the commands to love. Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment.
We are not automatically saved from our sins and judgment simply because we are children of saved parents or in relationship with saved relatives. We must believe in Jesus Christ ourselves as in John 3:36 to see the kingdom of God.
We are concerned that this dear little girl may be the victim of weaponizing by the adults as children of their conflicting attitudes. It is entirely possible that some or all are unsaved. It is a common fact that children in such situations want to see their mother and father happy and see them happy together. However let us remember that God hates divorce and wants families to love and honor one another. This little girl wants and needs peace between her mother and father.
Let us pray for the love of God to fill this little girl's heart as in Romans 5:5, and the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given to us. Let us also pray for the mother to have a heart of compassion, in Colossians 3:12, Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance.
Perhaps all are under conviction from God. Rest assured if under conviction of the Holy Spirit, we will be a under a great deal of anxiety and concern until the sin is confronted, repented of, and Christ is trusted as savior, and peace will result.
Please consider submitting the prayer request people for salvation. Let us exalt God and pray for God's blessings to overflow and bring peace to this family in this situation through changed hearts and lives.
