Reconciliation

Pray that Emily and Devon reconcile. Pray that she will be the wife and mother God wants her to be for him and that he will be the husband and dad God needs him to be for her.

We understand your desire for reconciliation between Emily and Devon. It's important to approach this situation with God's will at the forefront, seeking His guidance and wisdom. We must remember that God desires marriages to reflect His love and sanctity, as seen in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Assembly, and gave himself up for her."

Firstly, we notice that the request does not mention our Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage you to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in Jesus' name.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Emily and Devon to You, Lord. We pray for their reconciliation, that it would be Your will, and that it would bring glory to Your name. Guide Emily to be the wife and mother that You desire her to be, loving and nurturing her family as You would have her do. Help Devon to be the husband and father that You need him to be, leading his family with love, strength, and wisdom.

Lord, we know that Your desire is for marriages to reflect Your love and commitment to us. Guide Emily and Devon to forgive each other, to love each other as You love us, and to be united in Your will. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

We encourage both Emily and Devon to seek God's will in their lives, to pray together, and to study God's Word. As it is written in Joshua 24:15, "If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose today whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."

May God bless their family and guide them in His will. We also gently remind you, Vymyc, to encourage them to pursue God's will together in Jesus' name.
