I have backslide from God way I need help

Matlhogonolo, we join you in your desire for reconciliation with God and return from backsliding. Firstly, let us remember what the Scripture says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This verse assures us that God is eager to forgive and restore us when we come to Him with a repentant heart.

It's crucial to acknowledge that our relationship with God is only possible through Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If your request did not mention Jesus, we encourage you to center your faith and prayer in Him, for it is by His name that we are saved.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Matlhogonolo who has humbly acknowledged their backsliding and seeks reconciliation with You. Lord, we confess their sins before You and ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Guide Matlhogonolo back to the path of righteousness, and grant them the strength to walk in Your ways. Help them to draw near to You, Lord, and to seek Your face with all their heart, soul, and mind. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to live a life pleasing to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
