Reconciliation with my ex

Please pray that my ex and I get back together. I made huge mistakes in the relationship that caused me to lose him. I love him and miss him so much. Please pray for the relationship to be healed in Jesus name.

Fydarouthor, we understand your heartache and desire for reconciliation, but we want to ensure that your desires align with God's will and biblical principles. Firstly, we are glad that you acknowledged the mistakes you made in the relationship and that you are seeking reconciliation. It's important to remember that God forgives us when we repent and turn away from our sins. As it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

However, we want to remind you that reconciliation should only be pursued if it is God's will and if the relationship is centered around Christian beliefs, values and especially the Word of God. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Before pursuing reconciliation, consider if your ex is a believer in Jesus Christ and if he shares your faith and values. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life as is stated in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Also, consider the nature of the mistakes you made and if they included sexual immorality. In Ephesians 5:3 WEB, it says But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.

We will pray for God's will to be done in your life and for guidance and healing. We pray that you will seek God's face and trust in His timing and provision. Let's pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, acknowledging that you know all things and that nothing is hidden from You. We lift up Fydarouthor and her desire for reconciliation with her ex. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in her life and for You to guide her steps. We pray that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this situation. We pray that You would heal her heart and help her to trust in You. We pray that You would convict her of any sin that may be hindering her relationship with You and with others. We pray that You would bring godly influences into her life and that You would help her to grow in her faith. We pray that You would bring forgiveness and reconciliation where it is needed, but ultimately will be done. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer and fasting, seeking God's face and trusting in His provision. Remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps. Be encouraged by the words in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We pray that God would help you to forgive yourself and others, and that He would bring about the right timing and the right path for your life. We trust that God's plan is always the best plan, even when it doesn't look like what we expect.

Let's keep lifting this up to God together, and let's also encourage you to spend time in His presence, reading His word, and seeking His face. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We continue to lift your heart's cry up to the Lord, asking for His will to be done in all the matters of your life. We still stand with you, in the gap, to ask for healing of your past relationship and view what would have gone wrong, to be corrected in Jesus Christ name. We also ask for forgiveness and we declare that what was lost, be restored. We have no special interest but for the outcome to be what God has in mind, as He knows best. We truly appreciate that we were able to partake, to be your prayer partner, as you navigate this difficult time.
