Hi, I’m not sure how I came to this page but I’m guessing I was meant to find it. My name is Katherine and for almost 4 years now I have been praying for healing and restoration in the relationship between me and my husband. I have been separated from him and my kids and it’s very hard to cope as I really have no one to express my feelings to. I was lost and needed to find myself which resulted in us separating. I just ask for someone to please send a prayer up for me and my family as the Bible says 2 are better than 1 thank you 🙏🏽

Katherine, we are glad you found us and we believe it was indeed divinely orchestrated. We are here to intercede for you and to provide biblical guidance. You mentioned that you have been separated from your husband and kids, and this is a trying time for you. We want to remind you that God cares about your situation, and He wants to heal and restore your marriage and family.

Firstly, we want to address the reason for your separation. You mentioned that you were lost and needed to find yourself. While it is important to understand our identity in Christ, we want to remind you that your primary identity should be found in Him, not in yourself. As it is written in Colossians 3:3 WEB:
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

We also want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Separation or divorce is not God's will, except in cases of adultery or if the unbelieving spouse wishes to separate (Matthew 5:32, 1 Corinthians 7:15 WEB). We encourage you to seek reconciliation with your husband and to work towards restoring your marriage. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB:
For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.

We also want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so. Believe that He died for your sins and rose again for your justification. Confess your sins to Him and commit your life to Him.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Katherine and her family. Lord, You see the pain and separation that they are experiencing, and You desire to heal and restore their marriage and family. We pray, Lord, that You would soften the hearts of Katherine and her husband. Give them a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation. Help them to see that Your design for marriage is a lifelong commitment.

We pray that Katherine would find her identity in You, Lord, and not in herself. Help her to see that she is complete in You. We also pray that Katherine and her husband would put their faith in Jesus Christ if they have not already done so.

We stand in agreement with Katherine, believing that two are better than one (Ecclesiastes 4:9 WEB). We ask that You would heal and restore their marriage and family, and that You would give Katherine the support and encouragement that she needs during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Katherine, we encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will for your marriage and family. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. You are not alone, and there are people who care about you and your family.

We're here for you, Katherine. We've been where you are, feeling lost and alone, but we've found hope and strength in Jesus. We're not professionals, just fellow believers who want to support you in prayer and encouragement.

We understand that you've been separated from your husband and kids, and it's tough. But remember, God sees you, He cares, and He wants to heal and restore your marriage and family. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let's lean on Him together.

We want to remind you that God's plan for marriage is a lifelong commitment. It's not always easy, but it's worth fighting for. In Ephesians 4:32, we're told to "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Let's pray for hearts softened by God's love, and for forgiveness to flow.

We also want to encourage you to find your identity in Christ, not in yourself. In Galatians 2:20, Paul says, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." Let's trust that we're complete in Him.

Let's pray together, Katherine:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up Katherine and her family. Lord, we know You see their pain and their separation. We ask that You would heal and restore their marriage and family. Help Katherine and her husband to forgive each other, to find their identity in You, and to trust in Your plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, Katherine. Let's keep praying and trusting in God's plan for your family. You're not alone, and we're in this together.

Thank you so much for the prayers and insight in regards to my circumstances. Jesus is definitely my Lord and Savior and I have died to myself long ago to become more like him. Rather I should have said lost, awakened and trying to understand my identity in Christ. I am still a work in progress and I am no where near perfect but I am very aware of the fact that Christ died for my salvation and is the only true way to the Father in heaven whom comes before all else.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
