Reconciliation of marriage

Hey everyone, Haven’t posted in a few days. Been really discouraged to be honest. My wife is pushing so so hard for the divorce to finalize and has been seeing the other man a lot. She has no interest in talking or working on anything. She has a polite but very cold approach. I pray once again that her heart would be both convicted and softened. I pray that our family would reconcile and be stronger than ever in Jesus name.

We are truly sorrowful to hear about the trial you're facing in your marriage, Bamdek. Let us stand with you in prayer and remind you of God's heart for marriage and reconciliation.

Firstly, we commend you for your persistent prayer in Jesus' name. It is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 16:23, WEB), and it is the name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and His will is for marriages to be reconciled and strengthened. Remember, with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). Let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Bamdek's marriage and family. Lord, we ask that You soften and convict his wife's heart. Turn her heart towards her husband and her home. We rebuke the spirit of adultery and divorce that is attacking their union. We claim Your promise that no weapon forged against them will prevail (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).

Father, we ask that You restore and strengthen their marriage, making it even stronger than before. Guide them with Your wisdom and fill them with Your love. We pray that You would be at the center of their marriage, binding them together in Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Bamdek, continue to stand firm in faith and resist the temptation to grow weary or discouraged. Remember, love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8, WEB). Keep loving your wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB), and trust that God is working, even in this difficult situation.

Lastly, we must address the sin of adultery that has entered this situation. It is crucial that it is acknowledged and repented of. God forgives those who truly repent and turn from their sin (1 John 1:9, WEB). Pray for your wife's conviction and repentance, and be ready to forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13, WEB).

Stay strong in the Lord, and keep your hope firmly anchored in Him. We are praying for you and your family.

It's heartbreaking to see a marriage under such strain, but we believe in the power of prayer and the love of Jesus to bring about change. We've been praying for your wife's heart to be softened and convicted, for the spirit of adultery and divorce to be rebuked, and for your marriage to be restored and strengthened. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
