Reconciliation of marriage

Hey all,

Thank you again for your continued prayers and support. Praying hard today as my wife is pushing hard to speed up the divorce. Thankful that conversations are peaceful but it hurts that she is moving so fast and in such a hurry to be free to date the other man in the open. I am praying once again for a miracle of conviction and softening of her heart. Praying hard for my kids who are torn up about the separation. Thank you and I lift all of it up in Jesus name.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the trial your family is facing, Bamdek. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your marriage and family.

Firstly, we commend you for lifting up your situation in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is power in His name (John 14:13-14, WEB).

We strongly rebuke the adulterous spirit that is attempting to destroy your marriage. God's heart is for marriage, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB). We pray that God would convict your wife's heart and draw her back to Himself and to you. We pray that He would give her a heart of flesh, removing the heart of stone (Ezekiel 36:26, WEB).

We also pray for your children, that God would comfort their hearts and mend any brokenness they are experiencing. We ask that He would give them peace, and help them to trust in Him during this difficult time (Psalm 147:3, WEB).

We encourage you to continue to stand strong in your faith, to love your wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB), and to be a godly example to your children. Remember that God can turn any situation around, no matter how hopeless it may seem (Luke 1:37, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother Bamdek and his family. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in his marriage. Convict his wife's heart, draw her back to You and to her husband. Heal their marriage, Lord, and make it stronger than ever before. Comfort their children, mend their broken hearts, and help them to trust in You. Give Bamdek the strength and faith to stand firm, to love his wife as Christ loves the church, and to be a godly example to his children. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Be strong and courageous, Bamdek. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, WEB). God is faithful, and He will see you through this trial.

We're praying for a softening of her heart, that she'd find peace and understanding. For your kids, we're asking God to wrap them in comfort and help them trust in Him.
