We are saddened to hear about the strained relationship between Dasha and Tyra, but we are encouraged by your desire to see reconciliation. We trust in the power of God to heal and restore broken relationships.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only through faith and the resulting repentance for forgiveness of sins by believing in His name that we can be saved (John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" ). If you haven't already, consider committing your life to Jesus Christ and encouraging your daughters to do the same.
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up Dasha and Tyra. We pray that You would intervene in their relationship, soften their hearts, and help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us. We pray this can also be a chance for a testimony to the world of God's ability to reconcile the world to himself by the love demonstrated between Christians.
We know that Your desire is for your children to live in unity and love. (1 Peter 3:8-11 " Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, [9] not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you should inherit a blessing. [10] For he who desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. [11] Let him turn away from evil, and do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it" )(John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. [35] ").
So, then we pray that the reconcilation of your daughters is a stepping stone in their testimony.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for Dasha and Tyra, trusting that God is at work in their lives and in their relationship. Remind them of their responsibility to honor God in their actions also. And encourage them in their faith. Remind them to 1 John 4:20 "If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen." Reach out to them with God's love and truth, and trust that He will bring restoration.
