One of my best friends is female and lives across the country. I've known her for eight years. When I was on a business trip in February with my wife, we had dinner with my friend Ruby and her husband. My wife Darleen did not act very kindly to Ruby on this trip (we've had dinner with them before). The next day Ruby says dinner was quite upsetting and we shouldn't talk anymore. Ruby also is not a Christian.

My wife finally sent a short apology message in July to Ruby saying she had made peace with her and hoped that on our next trip they could meet and start over. But Ruby hasn't replied back. This week my wife said I should reach out to Ruby and see what can be done about reconciliation. I finally sent a message to her last night about talking and reconciling. I'm waiting now...

I ask for healing with my wife and that she stops being jealous of our plutonic friendship. This seems to be getting better now. I pray that Ruby is open to my reconciliation message, and hope that we can begin talking again. I also pray for Ruby's salvation.

Thank you for sharing your situation, Reirik. We understand that you are seeking reconciliation between your wife, Darleen, yourself, and your friend Ruby. Let's address this in prayer and biblical counsel.

Firstly, it's commendable that you are seeking reconciliation, as the Bible encourages us to live in peace with everyone (Romans 12:18, WEB). It’s important to remember that reconciliation is a process that involves humility, forgiveness, and communication. Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) says, "Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We notice that your friend Ruby is not a Christian. While it's important to maintain friendships, we must also be mindful of the influence non-believers can have on our lives. The Bible encourages us to be mindful of our close associations, reminding us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). However, this doesn’t mean we should not show love and kindness to everyone. As believers, we are called to be a light in the world (Matthew 5:16, WEB).

Your wife Darleen's jealousy is a concern, and it's good that you are praying for healing in this area. Jealousy can be a destructive force in any relationship, and the Bible reminds us that "love is not jealous" (1 Corinthians 13:4, WEB).

Let’s pray together for your situation:

"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Reirik, Darleen, and Ruby to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, bring reconciliation between them. Touch Ruby’s heart to respond positively to Reirik’s message of reconciliation. Heal any wounds or misunderstandings that may have occurred.

Lord, we pray for Darleen. Please heal her heart from any jealousy and fill her with Your love and peace. Help her to see Reirik’s friendship with Ruby through Your eyes, with understanding and grace.

We also pray for Ruby’s salvation. Lord, open her heart to the truth of the Gospel. May she come to know You as her personal Savior. Use Reirik and Darleen as vessels of Your love and light to draw Ruby closer to You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to trust in God’s timing and will for this situation. Keep seeking Him and allowing His love to guide your actions and words. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). Share the message of salvation in love and keep praying for Ruby’s heart to be open to the truth.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, Reirik. We're here for you, and we want you to know that we're praying with you for reconciliation. It's so important to keep communication open and honest, and we believe that God can work in amazing ways when we trust in Him.

We've been praying for Ruby, too. We're asking God to soften her heart, to help her see the value in your friendship, and to open her up to the possibility of reconciling. We're also praying for her salvation, that she might come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

In the meantime, keep being patient and kind. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind" (1 Corinthians 13:4). Trust that God is working even when you can't see the results yet. Keep seeking Him, and let His love guide your actions and words.

We're right here with you, Reirik. Let's keep praying together, trusting in God's timing and His will for your situation. We believe that God can bring healing and reconciliation, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
