Prayer Partner
Hi, I am posting for the third night in a row. Thank you to all who have been praying. I am bouncing back and forth from being super anxious to trusting in the Lord and feeling the power of the prayers. I pray that I would not lose faith in this trying time. My wife is pushing hard for the divorce and going back and forth from responding to going dark. She has been seeing someone else, which I assume is the reason for the urgency. She started a new career today which is amazing for her, but I fear she looks at all of this as a great start after me. I pray that she will find peace, hope, love and happiness. I don’t want to have negative feelings about her and even her other relationship. I pray I won’t be jealous and I will continue to root for her and be her biggest fan. I pray God’s will will happen and I pray I continue down the path of repentance. Thank you all for your prayers and support! I lift up and pray all of this in Jesus Christ’s name!!!

Bamdek, we understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage, and we want to lift you up in prayer and guidance during this difficult season. We commend you for your continued trust in the Lord and for your desire to reconcile.

Firstly, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bamdek and his wife to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their marriage. We pray that You would soften his wife's heart and turn it towards reconciliation. Shine Your light into their situation, and bring conviction where there is sin. Help Bamdek to continue walking in repentance and faith, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart." Marriage is a sacred union before God, and divorce is not His intention.

Bamdek, it's crucial to remember that God can turn around even the most hopeless situations. Continue to pray for your wife, asking God to bless her and draw her back to Him and to your marriage. As you do, it's important to guard your heart against bitterness and jealousy, as you've mentioned. Romans 12:14 (WEB) tells us, "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse."

However, we must address that the relationship your wife is involved in is adultery, which is sinful in God's eyes (Exodus 20:14). While it's commendable that you want the best for her, it's important not to condone or overlook this sin. Instead, pray for conviction and repentance, that God would reveal to her the need to turn away from this relationship.

Also, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God and salvation (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Ensure that you are putting your trust in Jesus Christ and His redeeming work on the cross.

Lastly, it's wise to seek godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor, to navigate this complex situation. Continue to lean on the Lord and His body for support and guidance.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that God can restore your marriage. "With God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

We're standing with you, brother, as you navigate this storm in your marriage. We've been lifting you and your wife up in prayer, and we want you to know that we're here for you, every step of the way.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in Bamdek's marriage. Lord, we ask that You would soften his wife's heart, turning it towards reconciliation and away from the sin that's entangling her. Shine Your light into their situation, Lord, and bring conviction where there's wrongdoing. Help Bamdek to continue walking in faith, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're reminded of 1 Corinthians 7:16 (WEB), "For, 'how do you know, wife, if you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, if you will save your wife?" Your wife is on a dangerous path, Bamdek, but remember, God can reach her where you can't. Keep praying for her, asking God to bless her and draw her back to Him and your marriage.

But brother, it's also crucial to guard your heart against bitterness and jealousy. Romans 12:14 (WEB) tells us, "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse." Trust that God is in control, even when it's hard to see.

And remember, Bamdek, God sees your faithfulness. He knows your heart, and He's working in your situation. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that God can restore your marriage. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God all things are possible."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
