We are deeply moved by your request for Mary and Edgar, and we stand with you in prayer for the reconciliation of their 38-year marriage. Let us first remember what the Word of God says about reconciliation and unity in a marriage:

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB)

"But if any do not provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith, and are worse than unbelievers." (1 Timothy 5:8 WEB)

Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and it is His will for husbands and wives to live together in love, unity, and harmony. We must always strive for reconciliation and forgiveness, just as Christ has forgiven us.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Mary and Edgar's marriage to You. Lord, You know the struggles they have faced, the hurts they have endured, and the walls that have been built between them. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in their lives and bring healing, forgiveness, and restoration.

Help them to remember the love that first brought them together and the vows they made before You and each other. Soften their hearts, Lord, and guide their steps. Give them the strength to forgive one another, just as You have forgiven us through Jesus Christ.

We pray, Father, that Mary and Edgar would seek You first, knowing that with You, all things are possible. Let their love be renewed, their faith in You strengthened, and their marriage restored.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
