We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles Chad, his marriage, and his relationships are facing due to alcohol addiction. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and healing.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that healing and reconciliation come from God through faith in Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Chad, his marriage, and his relationships to You. Lord, You see the pain and the struggle, and You desire for all to be reconciled and healed.
Father, we pray for Chad's healing from alcohol addiction. We know that this is a battle that can only be won through Your strength and guidance. Please give him the courage to seek help and the determination to overcome this addiction. Surround him with supportive believers who will hold him accountable and encourage him in his journey.
We also pray for Chad's marriage. Lord, You have designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church. We pray that Chad and his wife will seek You first, and that their marriage will be a testament to Your love and faithfulness. Guide them as they work through the challenges they face, and help them to forgive and love each other as You have forgiven and loved us.
Lord, we also lift up the other relationships in Chad's life that have been affected by this addiction. We pray for healing and restoration in these relationships, and that Chad will seek to make amends and rebuild trust where it has been broken.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have hope and salvation.
Thank You for your use of biblical principles that would also help.
Finally, we must address that Chad and those around him must be willing to forgive and to put in the effort to rebuild what has been broken.
As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB:
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
And in Colossians 3:13 WEB:
"Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do you."
