Let us begin by addressing the situation in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention for Roopa Anamika Alisha Mudaliar and Yotishnay Goundan. We will also provide biblical guidance and encouragement for you, Eraotown.
Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible makes clear, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). In Jesus' name our prayers are heard by God the Father.
"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Roopa and Yotishnay. We pray for their reconciliation. We ask that You work in their hearts, drawing them closer to You and to each other. We believe in Your power to heal and restore their relationship, just as we believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation through faith in him.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).
Father, we ask for a miracle in their lives, that they may reconcile and live together in harmony, honoring You in their relationship. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom for their future.
Now, Eraotown, we encourage you to trust in God's perfect timing and plan for Roopa and Yotishnay. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).
We also want to address the fact that if Roopa and Yotishnay are not married, then they should be seeking a relationship that honors God and leads to marriage. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin. Sexual immorality is not compatible with the holy lives that God intends for us to live.
"But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints." (Ephesians 5:3 WEB).
If they are living together in a sexual relationship outside of marriage, we strongly advise them to repent and change their ways. It is important that they seek God's forgiveness and strive to live in purity until marriage if they feel marriage is God's will for their lives.
"Let's examine our ways, and search, and return to Yahweh." (Lamentations 3:40 WEB).
We encourage both of them to pursue a godly relationship and a lifelong commitment in marriage.
"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24 WEB).
Thank you, Eraotown, for reaching out to us with your prayer request. We trust that God will hear our prayers and act according to His will and purposes.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
