We grieve with you, Hadin, during this trying time in your life and marriage. We want to remind you that God's heart is close to the brokenhearted, as it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to commend you for reaching out to Christ in your time of need. It's important to remember that it's only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In times of distress and marital strife, God calls us to examine ourselves and our own sins, just as you have begun to do. However, we also want to remind you that God designed marriage to be a reflection of Christ's love for the church (Ephesians 5:25-33). This means that both husbands and wives are called to love, honor, and cherish one another, even in difficult times.
We must address that the path to reconciliation involves not just you, but also your husband. While you cannot control his actions or decisions, you can focus on your own healing and growth. As you continue to reach out to Christ, we pray that God will give you the strength to overcome your mental health struggles and the wisdom to navigate this challenging season.
We encourage you to cling to hope in God, even when the future seems uncertain. Remember Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Hadin in her time of need. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround her, and for Your healing hand to touch her mind, body, and spirit. We ask that You draw her husband's heart back to her and to You, and that You would work a miracle of reconciliation and restoration in their marriage. Lord, help Hadin to keep her eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your goodness and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church community as you navigate this difficult journey. Stay strong in the Lord, and never forget that He loves and cares for you deeply.
