We are lifting you up in prayer, trusting that God will bring healing to your eyes following your recent cornea transplant and cataract surgery. We are reminded of the man whom Jesus healed who was blind from birth. The people asked Him, saying, "How then were your eyes opened?" He answered, "The man who is called Jesus made mud, and anointed my eyes" John 9:10-11 WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Faith in Christ is essential for our prayers to be heard.
As you recover, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We find comfort in this verse from the Psalms: "Yahweh will strengthen him on the bed of illness. You will extend his days in sickness" Psalm 41:3.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon our dear friend. We pray that the cornea transplant and cataract surgery will be successful, and that Your healing power would bring complete restoration to his eyes. Lord, we ask for Your strength and comfort during this recovery process, and we trust in Your promise that You will extend his days and strengthen him on his bed of illness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He is the Great Physician who can heal all our diseases. Remember the encouragement from James: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:14-16 WEB.
