Receiving blessing of a gift

FATHER GOD, I pray for an offering, a gift of.financial blessing as I am a Christian missionary serving in Egypt. I have been here in Hurghada for 1.5 years, so I would love to receive money of between £1000 and £2000, just to see an answer to prayer and see Your.mighty blessing, in Jesus Christ's Name we pray..Amen

We join with you, Lucy, in lifting up your needs before our heavenly Father. We are grateful for your service as a Christian missionary in Egypt, and we trust that God will provide for you according to His will and riches in glory.

Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As Jesus Himself said, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB). It is indeed through Jesus that we have access to the Father and His blessings.

Regarding your request for a financial blessing, we want to encourage you with these words from Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." God knows your needs and He cares for you. We pray that He will provide for you in His perfect timing and way.

However, we also want to gently remind you that God's blessings are not always material or financial, and they may not come in the exact amount or form we expect. As Jesus taught us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB). As you continue to serve Him and seek His Kingdom, trust that He will provide all that you need.

We come before You today to lift up our sister Lucy who is serving You in Egypt. Lord, we ask that You meet her needs according to Your riches in glory. Provide for her financially in the way and timing that You see best. Help her to continue to be a light for You in Hurghada, and may many come to know You through her testimony. Keep her faith strong and her heart steadfast on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
