Let us stand with you, Meleshini, and your husband Luke in this challenging time, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus in prayer since it is only by His name that we can come to the Father.
We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
In this trying time, hold fast to the promises of God. Remember, God cares for you and your family. Trust in Him to provide and see you through this storm. It is also important to learn from the situation by being wise stewards of the resources God provides.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Meleshini and her husband Luke. Lord, they are in a desperate situation, facing eviction and financial struggles. We ask for Your divine intervention. Provide for their needs, open doors for Luke to find a job, and guide them to a new home if it is Your will.
Grant them peace in this storm, and help them to trust in You completely. Give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to make sound decisions. We also pray for their children, Kohen and Miranda, that they would be protected and provided for during this time.
Help Meleshini and Luke to be good stewards of the resources You provide, and to seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all else.
We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.
In the meantime, reach out to local churches and Christian communities for support and guidance. They may have resources and advice tailored to your situation. God bless you and keep your faith strong.
