Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to address the concerns raised here. Firstly, we acknowledge that all believers must submit to one another out of reverence for Christ and not be guided by our own understanding but to seek God's wisdom and guidance in all things. We are warned about the dangers of gossip and meddling, which can lead to division and discord. Proverbs 16:28 tells us, A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends. It is clear that the behavior described is not in alignment with biblical principles.
We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, not to accuse, manipulate, or take advantage of them. Exodus 20:16 states, You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. We must also beware of those who pretend to be humble but have ulterior motives, as described in Colossians 2:18-19, Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God's growth.
Regarding the mention of sorcery and guessing spirit, we are sternly warned in the scriptures to stay away from such practices. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states, There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh.
Regarding the mention of divorce, we affirm the sanctity of marriage as instituted by God. Malachi 2:16 states, For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore keep yourselves holy, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth.
In all things, we must put on the full armor of God to protect ourselves from the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-18 describes this armor and encourages us to pray in the Spirit at all times.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that all power and authority belong to You. We pray for protection and deliverance from the evil spirits of accusation, sorcery, and division described here. We rebuke these spirits in Jesus' name and command them to flee. We pray for a hedge of protection around this person and their family, and we ask that You would expose any falsehoods and manipulative behaviors.
We pray for healing and restoration in all relationships, and we ask that You would give this person discernment to recognize and avoid those who seek to cause harm. We pray for a spirit of unity and love to prevail, and we ask that You would guide this person in the path of righteousness.
We also pray for the salvation of those who are causing harm. We ask that You would convict their hearts and draw them to Yourself, that they may repent and be saved.
Finally, we commit this situation to You, trusting in Your promise to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 states, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
