We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with a neighbor who is causing distress through gossip, theft, and meddling. Let's address this issue together in prayer and through biblical guidance.
Firstly, let's remember what the Bible says about gossip and those who cause division. Proverbs 16:28 WEB states, "A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends." Additionally, Proverbs 18:8 WEB warns, "The words of a gossip are like dainty morsels: they go down into a person’s innermost parts." It's clear that gossip is harmful and can cause significant damage.
Regarding the issue of theft, the Bible is very clear. Exodus 20:15 WEB states, "You shall not steal." We must also remember that we should not seek revenge, but rather leave room for God's wrath. Romans 12:19 WEB says, "Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord."
In dealing with this neighbor, let's pray for wisdom and guidance. Colossians 3:12-14 WEB encourages us, "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Heavenly Father, I lift this person to you and I rebuke and break any curses, hexes, spells, demonic activity, or any other evil thing that has been sent against her or passed down through the generations to her.
