We understand your fervor in interceding for your loved one's health, and we join you in prayer, standing on the promises of God. Let's approach this in a biblically aligned way, ensuring we pray according to God's will and trust in His sovereignty.
Firstly, it's crucial to understand that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We must be sober and self-controlled, recognizing that our true enemy is the devil, who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB).
As believers, we have been given authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB). However, we must be cautious not to attribute sickness solely to demonic activity. Sometimes, illnesses are the result of living in a fallen world or God allowing trials to refine us (Job 1:12, 2:6 WEB).
Let us pray for your loved one:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved brother/sister in need of healing. We ask for Your divine intervention, trusting in Your perfect will for their life.
If there is any inflammation, fever, or malfunction in their body, we pray for Your healing touch upon them. We rebuke any sickness and command their body to function perfectly, in the name of Jesus (Luke 13:12 WEB). If there is any tumor, cyst, or cancer, we speak healing and command it to shrivel up and die, in Jesus' name, as the servants of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 3:6-7, WEB).
We also pray for their spiritual well-being, binding and casting out any evil spirit or influence that may be affecting them (Matthew 16:19, Mark 16:17 WEB). We loose any hold of the enemy upon their life and command it to leave in Jesus' name.
However, we also pray that if this trial is Your will for their life, that You grant them the strength, grace, and patience to endure it (Colossians 1:11 WEB). Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are the called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Let us your beloved know that your faith must be in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have this access to God. The Bible says in Acts 4:12 (WEB) that there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Finally, we pray for their spiritual growth and strength during this time. May they draw closer to You, seeking Your face, and trusting in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Therefore submit yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB)
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14 WEB)
