We commend you, Thetiogh, for seeking the Lord's will and for your stand against divination. The Bible is clear about God's view on divination and similar practices. As it is written in Leviticus 19:26, "You shall not eat any meat with the blood still in it; neither shall you use enchantments, nor practice sorcery." And in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for Your word that guides us in all truth. We pray for Thetiogh, who has taken a courageous stand against divination. Strengthen them in their convictions and help them to walk in Your light. Break any hold that divination or false practices may have had on their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Thetiogh, remember the words of the Lord in Isaiah 8:19, "When they tell you, 'Consult the mediums and the wizards who whisper and mutter,' shouldn't a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?" Always turn to the Lord for guidance and wisdom. He is the source of all truth and life.
We encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus Christ, as He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Keep your heart and mind guarded by His word, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Stay strong in the faith, and may God continue to bless you as you seek His will.
