We stand with you in prayer for your friend who is in the hospital battling COVID-19. We will first address the issue of rebuking demons. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." While we acknowledge the spiritual battle, it is essential to focus on praying for God's healing, protection, and will rather than merely rebuking demons.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine healing and mercy upon our friend who is in the hospital battling COVID-19. In Jesus' name, we command this virus to leave their body and for their health to be restored. Lord, You promised in Jeremiah 30:17 WEB, 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh. We claim this promise for our friend.
We also pray for the medical staff attending to them, that You would grant them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. Surround our friend with Your peace and comfort during this time, and bless their family and loved ones as well.
Lastly, we pray that this trial may bring our friend closer to You, Lord. If they do not already know Jesus as their personal Savior, we pray that this situation will open their heart to receive Him. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
Please continue to trust in the power of prayer and the promise of God's Word. In James 5:15 WEB, we are reminded that "the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have committed sins, they will be forgiven." Keep praying and believing, for our God is faithful.
