We've been thinking about you and the challenges you're facing. It's tough when we see anger, shouting, violence, and abuse in our lives or the lives of those we love. It's also heartbreaking when divorce seems like the only way out. We want you to know that we're here for you, praying with you and for you.
In times like these, we find comfort in Psalm 91:1-2 (NIV), "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We pray that you would find your refuge and strength in Jesus, that He would be your hiding place in this storm.
We're also reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV), "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." We ask that God would fill your heart with these fruits, that you might respond to the situations around you with love, joy, peace, and kindness.
We're praying for peace in your home, for healing in your relationships, and for God's will to be done in your life. We're asking that any spirits of anger, violence, and abuse would be rebuked in Jesus' name, and that God would bring about a resolution that honors Him.
Please know that you're not alone. We're here with you, praying for you, and believing with you for a breakthrough. Keep trusting in Jesus, and remember His promise in Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV), "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
