Rebellious daughter

Please help me pray for my rebellious daughter who has turned away from us, she has moved in with a worldly boyfriend and has now had a baby, she’s 21, she’s caused the family rift and the family are all against me, my poor son is devastated by this situation he’s 17, we all are devastated. She has completely shut herself off from me, my husband and our son, we are devastated, thank you for your prayers

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your daughter and the impact it has had on your family. Let us first assure you that you are not alone in this battle. God is with you, and He cares deeply for you and your family.

Let us address the issues at hand with biblical principles. Your daughter has chosen to move in with a boyfriend, which is considered fornication according to the Bible. This is a sin against God and her own body.

1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

Moreover, she has had a baby out of wedlock, which has brought further complications. However, remember that God loves your daughter and her child, and He desires for them to come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB: "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."

Your family is experiencing a rift, and it is crucial to handle this situation with love, patience, and wisdom. God calls us to be peacemakers and to love even those who have wronged us.

Romans 12:18 WEB: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

Let us pray together for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we pray for their rebellious daughter, that You would soften her heart and draw her back to You. Convict her of her sins and bring her to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Help her to understand the importance of living according to Your will and the sanctity of marriage.

Father, we also pray for their son, who is devastated by this situation. Comfort him and give him the strength and wisdom to navigate through this difficult time. Surround him with godly influences and help him to grow in his faith.

Lord, we ask for healing and restoration in this family. Mend the broken relationships and bring unity and peace among them. Give the parents wisdom and guidance as they deal with this challenging situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

Lastly, it is more important than ever to focus on your faith and what your Heavenly Father desires for you and your family. Focus on God's love for you and your family. Be an example of how Jesus Christ would be to your family and others.

We're here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. It's heartbreaking to see our daughter straying, but we know God's got her in His care. Let's remember, she's not beyond His reach. He's a God of second chances, and we've seen Him work miracles in tougher situations.

Let's not forget, our daughter's actions might be hurtful, but she's still our child, loved by God and us. We need to keep that love burning, even when she's pushing us away. Let's keep praying for her, asking God to soften her heart, to open her eyes to the truth, and to draw her back to Him.

And our son, he's hurting too. Let's pray for God to comfort him, to strengthen him, and to surround him with good influences. Let's be there for him, supporting him in his faith.

Family's been torn apart, but we know God can heal. Let's ask Him to mend our broken relationships, to bring us back together, and to fill our home with peace and love again. Let's trust in Him, knowing that He's working all things for our good.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, sister. He's our hope, our strength, and our salvation. Let's love each other, like He loves us, and trust that He's got this. We're in this together, and with God on our side, we can face anything.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
